Aurora is seeking an Assistant Risk Manager (Insurance Focus) to oversee corporate insurance programs and risk strategies. You will drive strategy for general liability, property, auto, workers’ comp, and D&O while building data-driven models for risk transfer and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, or related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate risk management, insurance brokerage, or underwriting.
• Mastery of insurance principles, policy language, and alternative risk financing structures.
• Proficiency with RMIS and data visualization; ability to create and interpret complex financial models.
• Strong negotiation experience with global insurers and ability to communicate risk to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead insurance strategy and program management for corporate placements and premium negotiation.
• Oversee development and validation of quantitative risk models, exposure analysis, and loss data.
• Conduct enterprise-wide risk audits and financial projections to optimize risk control.
• Direct investigation and management of high-exposure insurance claims and broker negotiations.
• Develop and audit the Risk Management Manual, ensuring compliance with regulations and governance.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Operations to align risk strategies with milestones.
• Pioneer AI-driven tools to accelerate claims processing and risk reporting.
