Job summary

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is seeking an experienced insurance and risk management professional to analyze contracts, leases, and licenses, ensuring appropriate insurance coverage and risk controls are in place. You will manage certificate tracking, work with brokers and carriers, and support renewal activities for agency insurance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or related field.
• Four (4) years of experience with commercial insurance policies and programs.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with restrictions as specified for operating DART vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contracts, licenses and leases to identify risk and determine insurance requirements.
• Monitor insurance certificate tracking and liaise with brokers and carriers.
• Assist with renewal activities and refresh rate data for insurance programs.
• Provide training on insurance and indemnification issues to staff and contractors.
• Oversee claims deductible recovery and monitor premium audits for accuracy.
• Prepare claims and budget reports for insurance programs and track costs.
