Job summary

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Inc. seeks a Right of Way Representative to manage DART rail property within the Real Estate and Economic Development division.

You will engage with tenants, engineers, planners, developers and utilities to evaluate proposals for use of DART corridors and ensure compliance with policy. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field and at least three years' experience in right-of-way or property management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in right-of-way or property management.
• Knowledge of real estate principles and applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Meets with tenants, engineers, city planners, developers, utilities and others proposing transactions for new or changed use of DART property.
• Coordinates the review and processing of applications for public and private use of DART-owned railroad corridors.
• Negotiates license agreements and fees consistent with Board policy and department directions.
• Audits rental income and monitors accounts receivable, coordinating with Accounting for timely deposits and reconciliation.
