Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of commercial insurance or risk management from coursework, grad program, or early-career experience in insurance.
• Interest in supporting insurance programs, renewals, projects, and broker/insurer relationships.
• Understanding of commercial insurance lines such as Property, Construction, Casualty, or Management Liability, with eagerness to deepen expertise.
• Ability to own assigned tasks, ask thoughtful questions, apply feedback, and complete work with guidance.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Development of strategic direction for risk, including up-to-date methodologies and processes.
• Management of the risk department, including oversight of colleagues and performance, risk priorities, and department efficiency.
• Relationship management with risk stakeholders and third-party service providers.
• Adherence to Risk policy and governance frameworks, maintaining a robust control environment.
