ADP, Inc. in Livonia, MI is seeking an experienced Insurance Restoration Estimator to write accurate estimates for water, fire, and other losses. You will inspect properties, prepare sketches and scopes, and meet with homeowners and insurance professionals to finalize estimates.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance restoration estimating, advanced Xactimate skills, and a solid understanding of insurance claims processes. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in insurance restoration estimating.
• Advanced knowledge of Xactimate is required.
• Experience with water, fire, storm, and reconstruction estimating.
• Strong understanding of insurance claims processes.
• Ability to read construction plans and take accurate measurements.
• Willingness to inspect roofs and work at heights with safety gear.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with multitasking ability.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• IICRC certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties after losses to determine scope and costs.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually

Location: Clinton Township, MI

We are a rapidly growing, full-service restoration company seeking an experienced Insurance Restoration Estimator to join our team. If you have a strong background in insurance claims, Xactimate estimating, and residential/commercial restoration, we'd like to speak with you.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with customers and insurance professionals, and takes pride in writing accurate, detailed estimates.

Responsibilities

• Inspect residential and commercial properties following water, fire, storm, mold, vehicle impact, and other property losses.
• Create sketches, scopes of work, and photo documentation.
• Meet with homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients.
• Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters.
• Review insurance carrier estimates and prepare supplements when necessary.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure projects are properly scoped and handed off.
• Track estimate approvals and assist in converting opportunities into completed projects.
• Maintain organized documentation within company software.
• Respond to emergency losses when needed.

• Advanced knowledge of Xactimate (required).
• Experience with water, fire, storm, and reconstruction estimating.
• Strong understanding of insurance claims processes.
• Ability to read construction plans and perform accurate measurements.
• Ability and willingness to inspect residential and commercial roofs, including walking roofs and working at heights while using company-provided fall protection and safety equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• IICRC certifications are a plus but not required.
