Zusammenfassung

The Iowa Insurance Division is seeking an experienced Investigator for the Market Regulation Bureau to protect consumers by enforcing Iowa insurance and financial security laws.

Responsibilities include leading regulatory investigations of licensed individuals and entities, reviewing complaints, and ensuring adherence to state statutes. Strong analytical and interviewing skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in insurance investigations, regulatory compliance, financial crimes investigation or related enforcement field.
• Strong understanding of insurance and financial security principles and state regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyze complex business conduct and interpret statutes.

Aufgaben

• Initiate and lead investigations into potential violations of state insurance laws and regulations.
• Direct investigations on regulated parties, including producers/agents, adjusters, appraisers, and other entities.
• Review and analyze consumer complaints involving regulated individuals and companies.
• Analyze conduct under Insurance Trade Practices Act and related Iowa codes.
• Collaborate with a team of investigators and analysts to support investigations and prosecutions.
