As a key member of the team, you will drive the end-to-end client experience.

Role Overview

As a Payments Sales Manager within the Insurance Sales segment of the Non-Banking Financial Institutions Group, you will be responsible for selling cash management solutions, building a strong pipeline of opportunities, and managing existing portfolio business. You will execute comprehensive selling strategies in collaboration with Product and Banking coverage officers, and coordinate with client service, operations, technology, risk, credit, and legal teams to optimize delivery. Additionally, you will develop a thorough understanding of the market, industry, client organizational structure, buying process, and business objectives to effectively position JPMorgan solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop new business within our Insurance segment.
  2. Understand clients' business goals, environments, strategies, and industry trends to determine requirements and identify potential opportunities for JPMorgan Payments, including traditional cash management, FX, international payments, and liquidity solutions.
  3. Manage client visits and contacts; promote sales through regular meetings discussing new products, market developments, and industry trends.
  4. Enhance in-depth client knowledge and share insights with the client coverage team for new business development and risk management.
  5. Collaborate with the coverage team to expand existing business, provide feedback to product managers, and generate cross-sell opportunities by maintaining strong relationships across JPMorgan lines of business.
  6. Engage in strategic dialogues around key client issues, incorporating best practices, benchmarking, opportunity quantification, and solution positioning.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Extensive experience in selling cash management products (10+ years).
  • Strong understanding of competitors' products, strategies, and value propositions.
  • Proficiency in identifying and exploiting additional sales opportunities.
  • Proven ability to position, negotiate, and close new business deals.
  • Ability to assist in designing, selling, and delivering value-added services.
  • Skill in assessing new opportunities and engaging with key decision-makers.
  • Understanding of customer industries, needs, and potential solutions.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent account planning and execution capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
