Job summary
Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a leader to advance the Insurance Optimization Services (IOS) practice. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients in the insurance industry, transforming and optimizing insurance products to drive growth and profitability through continuous innovation.
You will leverage your background in risk management, brokerage, underwriting, and advisory services to manage complex engagements, collaborate with brokers and carriers, and drive significant value for clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in insurance / risk management, Business Administration, or other relevant field with a preference for advanced education including MBA, JD or other
- 4+ years of previous related risk management, insurance brokerage, underwriting and coverage
- Prior consulting experience is a plus
- Significant knowledge of the marketplace
- Flexibility with respect to travel
Responsibilities
- Lead insurance optimization engagements for clients in the insurance industry.
- Develop strategic recommendations to drive growth, profitability, and risk management.
- Collaborate with client teams, brokers, and carriers to optimize insurance programs.
- Demonstrate a track record of delivering large‑scale transactions and value creation.
