Job summary

NBT in Vestal, NY is seeking an agency support specialist to maintain client files, validate data in the agency management system, and provide basic to moderate internal helpdesk support. You will help researchers and colleagues while adhering to department metrics.

The role requires an associates degree with 3+ years of relevant experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, plus up to two years of technical support or agency management system experience. Some travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 3+ years relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years of technical support or agency management system experience preferred.
• Licenses in Property & Casualty or Life, Accident, and Health or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Document management: process daily incoming and outgoing documents for all departments and branches; attach to customer files and launch workflows.
• Maintain agency files accurately by researching, validating and entering data following workflows.
• Process daily interface items and commissions data according to procedures and guidelines.
• Process billing items received from carriers or internal staff.
• Provide support to colleagues by responding to inquiries and troubleshooting agency management and other software systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
