Job summary

Ascot US is seeking an Operations Technical Specialist to support and manage workflows between underwriting and key business partners. The role involves transforming underwriting outputs into finished, standardized documents for insureds, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong insurance background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid in-office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role or internships preferred.
• Must be positive, self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow of an underwriting unit and related departments.
• Ensure documents meet compliance standards and SLAs.
• Draft and issue policy documents; support underwriters and brokers through policy lifecycle.
• Provide guidance to offshore/shared service teams and conduct quality checks.
• Collaborate with offshore team to complete midterm endorsements and gather information required by underwriting.
