Job summary

Allied World is seeking a motivated professional to support underwriting operations, submissions, renewals, and client service. You will collaborate with underwriters and brokers to ensure timely processing and high-quality service while developing product knowledge and driving process improvements.

Ideal candidates will have a background in insurance operations, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Prior Insurance Operations experience preferred
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

• Underwriting Support: Support Underwriters in administration and processing of new business submissions and renewal management.
• Customer Service Excellence: Provide exemplary customer service by processing binders, policy issuance and midterm service requests within established timeframes.
• Communication Management: Respond in a timely and professional manner to internal processing requests and external queries from brokers.
• Proactive Collaboration: Work pro-actively with assigned underwriters and territories to support new and renewal client base.
• Product Knowledge Development: Gain a deep understanding of Product Set and broker dynamics that impact business flow.
