Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in insurance operations management or similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of policy administration systems and claims workflows.
• Proven ability to lead and develop operational teams.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Professional qualification in insurance or operations management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of insurance operations, including policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
• Ensure efficient and accurate processing of insurance claims in collaboration with the claims department.
• Manage and develop a team of operational staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Implement and refine operational workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics, taking action to address deviations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to operations.
• Manage relationships with third-party service providers involved in operational processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operations department.
• Champion a customer-centric approach within the operations team, ensuring high levels of service delivery.
• Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making related to operational capabilities.
