Job summary

First Western is seeking an Insurance Operations Manager to lead the daily agency operations, working directly with the President to drive growth, efficiency, and exceptional client service. The role emphasizes people leadership, process improvement, and strategic execution in a fast-paced independent insurance firm.

The ideal candidate will be organized, process-oriented, and able to manage multiple priority areas while maintaining high standards of client service and staff development.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and personnel management experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with agency management systems and CRM platforms - Applied Epic.
• P&C License and experience in insurance agency operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead account managers, customer service reps, and support staff.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
• Develop and oversee training programs for staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
• Ensure compliance with agency standards and carrier guidelines.
