Qualifications

• Eligible to obtain and maintain required state insurance licenses.
• Related industry experience and insurance knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proofreading ability.
• Proficient in keyboarding, computer applications, and standard office software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Process new business, renewals, and endorsements following guidelines.
• Process direct bill payments and submit to carriers.
• Review new business, renewals, and policy changes for accuracy in the agency system.
• Update and maintain agency management system records.
• Greet clients and direct them to the appropriate team member.
• Answer and route incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Monitor outstanding correspondence, tasks, and pending items.
• Follow agency E&O policies and procedures.
• Maintain organized electronic and/or paper files.
• Assist teammates with special projects and department requests.
• Participate in training and educational opportunities to enhance skills.
• Document client activities in the agency system.
• Collaborate within the department to ensure accuracy and privacy.
