Job summary

Brown & Riding is seeking a Production Apprentice in the Dallas area to assist the broker team with day-to-day technical and clerical tasks, ensuring adherence to QMS standards and company procedures. You will support renewal communications, information gathering, and file documentation under licensed supervision.

The role focuses on learning the insurance workflow, preparing market submissions, and coordinating with team members to process endorsements and coverages while developing necessary

Qualifications

• No prior insurance experience required.
• Strong organization, follow-up, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate analytical skills to define problems, gather data, and draw conclusions.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and good listening skills.
• Intermediate skill level in PC software (Word, Excel).
• Flexibility in work schedule and time management.
• Ability to interact with diverse personalities and styles.

Responsibilities

• Meet quality measurement goals by following Quality Management System standards.
• Follow up for subjectivities and post-binding requirements issued by the carrier.
• Ensure agency management files are fully documented per QMS procedures.
• Relay requests for information from a licensed team member to a retailer.
• Produce and email renewal letters requesting completed applications for insurance coverage.
• Coordinate with licensed team members to obtain factual information for reviews.
