Job summary

Oaklawn Psychiatric Center in Goshen, IN is seeking an Insurance Navigator to help clients access and maintain health coverage. You will assist with Medicaid and Marketplace applications, renewals, and eligibility requirements while educating clients on coverage options.

You will provide additional support to connect clients to needed services and ensure paperwork is completed per policy and procedure. Bilingual Spanish and knowledge of public entitlements are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Indiana Navigator and Certified Application Counselor credentials required within 6 months of hire and must be maintained yearly.
• Fluent in written and oral Spanish required.
• Experience with public entitlements, insurance, managed care, etc. preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in accessing and maintaining health insurance coverage.
• Assist with Medicaid and Marketplace applications, renewals, and eligibility requirements.
• Provide education about choices and processes in seeking coverage.
• Offer additional support and engagement to connect them to needed services.
• Will complete associated paperwork, per policy and procedure.
