Job summary

One Community Health in Hood River, OR is seeking an Insurance Navigation Manager to lead the Assister team and oversee grant programs, reporting, and compliance to expand access to health coverage and social services.

The role collaborates across clinical, operations, finance, and community partners; requires supervising staff, obtaining Oregon/Washington Assister certifications, strong data analysis, and excellent communication; includes bilingual proficiency benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in insurance enrollment, community health, healthcare services, or related field.
• Two years of experience managing or supervising a team.
• Experience developing reports related to program effectiveness and team operational performance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Oregon and Washington Assister certifications and SHIBA certification.
• Strong leadership, supervision, coaching, and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Assister team to expand access to health coverage and related services.
• Supervise and develop staff; oversee grant-funded programs and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state program requirements and prepare required reports.
• Collaborate with clinical, operations, finance, and community partners to support patients and communities.
• Serve as subject matter expert in insurance enrollment and advocate for individuals facing barriers to healthcare.
