Job summary

One Community Health in The Dalles, OR, is seeking an Insurance Navigation Manager to lead the Assister team and expand access to Medicaid, Medicare, Marketplace plans, and financial assistance. This role supervises staff, manages grant-funded programs, ensures compliance, and partners with clinical, operations, finance, and community organizations to improve health outcomes and reduce barriers to care.

A successful candidate will analyze performance data, generate reports, and maintain Oregon

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in insurance enrollment or related field.
• 2 years managing or supervising a team.
• Experience developing reports on program effectiveness and performance metrics.
• Ability to obtain Oregon and Washington Assister certifications and SHIBA certification as required.
• Strong leadership, supervision, coaching and team development skills.
• Ability to analyze data and use performance metrics to guide decisions.
• Knowledge of health insurance programs including Medicaid, Medicare, Marketplace plans and financial assistance programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the Assister team across insurance enrollment programs.
• Supervise and develop staff; manage grant-funded programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state requirements; oversee reporting and performance metrics.
• Lead initiatives to increase access to healthcare and reduce barriers to care.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, operations, finance, community organizations and government agencies.
• Serve as subject matter expert in insurance enrollment and financial assistance; advocate for individuals facing barriers to care.
