Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. (RRI) seeks an experienced Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform commercial inspections across our coverage territory. You will assess properties, document building features and exposures, and prepare underwriting reports.

The role requires travel to insured locations, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to work from home with a laptop and internet. Minimum 2 years in loss control and knowledge of Property, General Liability, and Inland Marine

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Loss Control service providers or major insurance carriers.
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial insurance lines — Property, General Liability and Inland Marine.
• Ability to identify building construction and ISO classes.
• Broad understanding of NFPA codes.
• Strong writing, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work from home with a PC, high‑speed internet and a cell/smartphone.
• Automobile and valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to climb a ladder up to 6 feet.
• Digital camera or smartphone with picture capability.
• Measuring wheel or similar tool and camera pole.

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations, take measurements and photos per carrier requirements.
• Identify building and roof construction type, square footage and hazards.
• Complete assignments/reports on time and by due dates.
• Communicate regularly with Field Manager to complete inspections cost‑effectively.
• Coordinate inspection meetings onsite with insured representatives.
• Prepare and report inspection results, upload photos and diagrams as needed.
• Travel to insured locations, with possible overnight stays.
