Qualifications

• Maintains end-to-end view of the insurance journey across all in-scope areas.
• Owns future-state process designs and confirms ownership before build.
• Resolves ownership when two teams claim the same activity.
• Identifies processes to stop, simplify or automate.
• Translates changes into role/workload implications for HR.
• Leads readiness for pilots and rollout groups; closes gaps early.
• Keeps teams aligned across delivery, change management and HR.
• Represents cross-functional impact in prioritization discussions.
• Establishes journey health measures in production.
• Mentors process owners and analysts.
• Maintains confidentiality of business matters.

Responsibilities

• 12+ years of experience in insurance or benefits operations, business process design, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, operations, or related field.
• Deep knowledge of how insurance work gets done across sales, underwriting, enrollment, billing, claims and servicing.
• Strong project management skills with resource planning and progress tracking.
• Experience redesigning work and simplifying processes.
• Experience with full system implementation and post-implementation settling.
• Ability to work autonomously on complex problems with independent judgment.
• Ability to bring leaders to a decision with sound reasoning.
• Judgment on sequencing decisions and timing of inputs.
• Mentor less experienced team members and explain changes clearly.
• Proficient with MS Office and GuideStone applications.
• Maintain complete confidentiality.
