Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst II to provide analytical and client services support to MGA partners, troubleshoot IT issues, and implement portfolio policies. You will collaborate with Product, IT and Underwriting to align rating system development with end-user needs and ensure deliverables meet specifications.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, process improvement, and effective communication across business and technical teams within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in P&C insurance.
• Supreme attention to detail and multi-tasking skills required.
• Ability to document, analyze, and identify business and system process gaps.
• Strong communication with both business and technical staff, written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; SQL knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO rates, information and tables is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert of proprietary IT rate and form editor tools.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing for rating system enhancements.
• Communicate with AmTrust teams on changes affecting data, workflow and functionality.
• Provide project status to upper management and delivery managers.
• Act as liaison between MGA users and IT project/delivery teams.
• Analyze system and user experience issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Identify discrepancies between actual and expected results.
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure change traceability to prevent defects.
• Build workflow documents for functional system enhancements.
• Serve as SME for assigned business portals and systems.
• Interact with external clients and internal partners professionally.
• Deliver system training to external partners via manuals, Teams calls or in-person.
