The Hilb Group offers an internship that enables students to explore multiple career paths within a growing insurance brokerage. You will work with seasoned professionals in the personal and commercial lines teams, gaining real-world experience and contributing to client service initiatives.

You may travel to the Richmond, VA corporate office for networking and events, with potential future employment opportunities upon graduation.

Competenze

• Must be able to commute to New England offices.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Preferred majors include Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Risk Management & Insurance, Actuarial Science, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Curious, motivated, and eager to learn about the insurance industry and grow professionally.

Mansioni

• Rotate between Personal Lines and Commercial Lines departments to gain hands-on exposure to both lines of coverage.
• Support account management team with policy documentation, endorsements, renewals, and administrative tasks.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and quality checks within the agency management system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in client appointments and sales meetings with producers to observe client service and sales best practices.
• Contribute to special projects aimed at improving internal processes, client experience, or operational efficiency.
• Build professional communication skills through interactions with internal stakeholders.
