Job summary

The Hilb Group is offering an internship opportunity for students to explore careers within a growing insurance brokerage. You will work with experienced team members on our commercial lines team, gaining hands-on experience with client service, policy documentation, renewals, and administrative tasks.

You will rotate between Personal Lines and Commercial Lines, observe client meetings, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between Personal Lines and Commercial Lines to gain exposure.
• Support account management with policy docs, endorsements, renewals, and administrative tasks.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and quality checks in the AMS.
• Participate in client appointments and sales meetings to observe service and sales practices.
• Contribute to projects improving internal processes and client experience.
• Develop professional communication with internal stakeholders.
