The role oversees claims processing, denial management, and insurance accounts receivable to ensure high-quality service and timely responses. The ideal candidate has an associate degree, at least two years in medical billing, and proficiency with Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in healthcare billing and collections.
• At least 2 years of experience in a medical business environment with knowledge of insurance billing regulations, reimbursement methods, and patient collections.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Patient Account Representatives.
• Oversee team performance by evaluating, tracking productivity metrics, and monitoring phone activity to ensure service standards.
• Resolve escalated patient concerns and ensure timely responses.
• Analyze AR trends and implement denial reduction strategies.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, coding standards, and internal policies.
