NEIS, LLC, a leader in insurance audit and loss control since 1945, is seeking a Premium Auditor to join our growing team. The role involves examining the financial records of businesses insured by commercial property and casualty insurers to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. The job is primarily remote, with daily travel to audit locations, averaging 2-4 days per week within your territory.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying standards.
2. Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and records.
3. Create schedules to maximize efficiency.
4. Coordinate with insureds via phone, email, and mail to set up appointments.
5. Examine records, gather data, and determine correct classifications for business activities.
6. Document audit findings, explain results to insureds, and communicate with the home office.
7. Travel to multiple audit locations regularly.

Job Requirements:

1. Associate’s Degree or equivalent plus two years of premium audit experience, or a comparable education and experience.
2. Ability to interpret financial documents.
3. Proficiency in PC use, including Microsoft Excel and Word; Visual Audit knowledge is a plus.
4. Strong communication skills.
5. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Compensation and Benefits:

3. Salary for experienced auditors: $46.00 - $48.00 per billable hour.
4. Training stipend for inexperienced auditors: up to $750 weekly, with salary transitioning to production pay ($44-46/hour) after training.
