As the parent company, ARMStrong owns and operates Altus Receivables Management, Brown & Joseph, Paragon, SubroIQ, and NEIS, each providing expertise in debt management and financial services.

NEIS, LLC has been a leader in insurance audits and loss prevention since 1945. We are seeking a Premium Auditor to join our growing team. The Premium Auditor examines the financial records of businesses insured by commercial property and casualty insurers to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. The role involves looking for evidence of fraud and verifying adherence to regulations. This position is remote, requiring daily travel within your assigned territory, averaging 2-4 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying manual rules and standards.
  2. Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and records.
  3. Create schedules to optimize time management.
  4. Communicate with insured clients via phone, email, and mail to set up appointments.
  5. Examine records, gather data, determine correct classifications, and describe operations.
  6. Complete audit documentation, explain results to insured, and communicate findings to the home office.
  7. Travel to multiple audit locations regularly.
Job Requirements:
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent plus two years of premium audit experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to interpret financial documents.
  • Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and staff.
  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options.
  • Paid time off and 7 paid holidays.
  • Salary for experienced auditors: $46.00 - $48.00 per billable hour.
  • Training stipend for inexperienced auditors: up to $750 weekly during training, with salary transitioning to production pay ($44-46 per hour) afterward.
  • Weekly pay schedule.
  • 401(k) plan with company match and immediate vesting.
