Job Opportunity: Premium Auditor

NEIS, LLC, a leader in insurance audit and loss prevention since 1945, is seeking a dedicated Premium Auditor to join our growing team. This role involves examining the financial records of insured businesses to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, with a focus on detecting fraud and verifying adherence to standards. The position is remote, with required daily travel within your designated territory, averaging 2-4 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying company standards.
2. Identify necessary information and prepare for audits efficiently.
3. Create schedules to optimize time management.
4. Coordinate with insured clients via phone, email, and mail to set up appointments.
5. Examine records, gather data, and accurately classify business activities, providing clear operational descriptions.
6. Complete audit documentation, explain results to clients, and communicate findings to the home office.
7. Travel regularly to audit locations within your territory.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent, with two years of premium auditing experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret financial documents effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Visual Audit is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with clients and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary for experienced auditors: $46.00 - $48.00 per billable hour.
• Training stipend for new auditors: up to $750 weekly, plus mileage and bonuses, transitioning to production pay after training ($44-46 per hour).
