LeoForce is seeking a mid-level Insurance Defense Paralegal in Miami, FL. The role supports attorneys with litigation, discovery, filings, and trial prep, while handling e-filing and legal research to drive case strategy.

Applicants should have at least 2 years paralegal experience, prefer insurance defense, and hold a paralegal certification. Strong organizational, billing, and communication skills are essential to manage deadlines and coordinate with teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in insurance defense.
• Proficiency in e-filing and other legal software.
• Strong legal research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal materials.
• Experience in litigation support, including preparing discovery responses and objections.
• Familiarity with medical records and the ability to accurately summarize pertinent information.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a busy calendar and meet deadlines.
• Experience with time entries and billing in a legal setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A paralegal certification or equivalent legal qualification is preferred.
