We are a well-established law firm with four offices across Texas, known for our deep expertise in litigation, our collaborative culture, and our long-standing client relationships. Our Insurance Defense Practice is growing, and we are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our team.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience supporting attorneys in insurance defense matters, including general liability, premises liability, and auto claims. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong case management, organization, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial and appeal
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files
• Coordinate and manage discovery, including document production and medical record summaries
• Prepare deposition summaries, trial notebooks, and exhibit binders
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and support
• Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel
• Monitor deadlines and maintain docketing systems

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience; insurance defense preferred
• Paralegal certificate or degree strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software (e.g., TrialDirector, CaseMap, or similar)
• Strong understanding of Texas state and federal court rules and procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and proactive work ethic
