Jobot, a well-established Texas-based litigation firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support its growing team. The role focuses on insurance defense matters and requires strong case management, organization, and communication skills.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of paralegal experience, a paralegal certificate or degree, and proficiency with MS Office and legal practice management tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience; insurance defense preferred
• Paralegal certificate or degree strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software (e.g., TrialDirector, CaseMap, or similar)
• Strong understanding of Texas state and federal court rules and procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and proactive work ethic

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial and appeal
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files
• Coordinate and manage discovery, including document production and medical record summaries
• Prepare deposition summaries, trial notebooks, and exhibit binders
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and support
• Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel
• Monitor deadlines and maintain docketing systems
