Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Insurance defense experience required.
• Strong understanding of Florida state court procedures and deadlines.
• Experience with discovery, medical records review, and trial preparation.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense files through all phases of litigation.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, notices, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, inspections, and expert meetings.
• Review, organize, and summarize medical records, claim files, and other case-related documents.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, exhibit management, and witness coordination.
• Track court deadlines and ensure compliance with Florida procedural rules.
• Conduct factual investigations and legal research as needed.
• Maintain communication with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.
