Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation/construction paralegal experience.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is required.
• Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, review, and analyze medical, financial, tax, and employment records
• Create detailed medical and factual chronologies
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files
• Compile evidence through discovery documents, transcripts, records, libraries, and databases
• Manage and organize electronic and physical case files
• Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and support services
• Generate status reports, logs, and case indexes
• Correspond with clients and opposing law firms
• Conduct legal and medical research, including review of expert materials
• Communicate with experts and analyze their qualifications, prior testimony, transcripts, and publications
• Perform additional duties as needed
• Support civil defense litigation involving construction, insurance, contract, licensure, and liability claims
