Qualifications

• 1+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in insurance defense.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Florida E-Filing Portal and familiarity with legal procedures and court protocols.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing administrative support to two attorneys.
• Managing calendars and coordinating all scheduling communications with precision.
• Preparing and filing routine pleadings and legal documents in accordance with court procedures.
• Locating and compiling case-relevant information.
• Ensuring compliance with client guidelines, firm policies, and judge-specific procedures.
• Scheduling with mediators, experts, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.
• Maintaining client and court deadlines in compliance with all policies and procedures.
