Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
1–2 years of insurance defense litigation experience is required.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills are essential.
Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.

Responsibilities

Manage an assigned caseload of insurance defense matters under senior attorneys.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
Conduct legal research and analyze issues.
Prepare and respond to written discovery.
Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
Assist with case strategy, evaluation, and trial preparation.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and team members.
Maintain deadlines and client reporting requirements.
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management.
