The Associate Attorney will handle automotive liability and insurance defense matters, collaborating with an experienced team in a fast-paced environment. Florida bar admission and 2-5 years of litigation experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar member in good standing.
• 2-5 years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience.
• Automotive liability defense experience preferred.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload involving automotive liability and insurance defense matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit organization.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurance carriers.
• Maintain deadlines and client reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management.
