The role emphasizes thorough research, strong document drafting, and active client communication under senior attorney supervision. You will assist in case preparation, manage discovery, and represent clients in routine court appearances, while collaborating with paralegals and staff.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of attorney experience.
• Strong understanding of state and federal general liability defense laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions and related documents with supervision.
• Assist in case preparation for hearings, trials, mediations and depositions.
• Maintain client communication, provide updates and address concerns.
• Manage discovery, review documents and prepare responses.
• Appear in court for routine motions and hearings under supervision.
• Advise clients on rights, obligations and risks to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals and staff on strategies.
• Meet billable hour targets through effective case management.
• Pursue CLE programs and stay updated on legal developments.
