Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking an experienced Counsel to manage a caseload of predominantly low to moderate complexity insurance defense matters. You will develop litigation strategies, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and represent insured clients through trials and appeals.

Based in the United States with travel as needed, you will collaborate with claim partners, keep clients informed, and leverage technology to optimize case management and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Active license to practice law in required state(s).
• Strong writing and oral advocacy; ability to present to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop litigation strategies for low to moderate complexity cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses.
• Attend court events, depositions and hearings.
• Advise claim partners and clients on file handling strategies.
