Travelers seeks an experienced attorney to handle a caseload of predominantly low to moderate complexity in insurance defense litigation. You will manage cases from inception through trial and appeal, delivering high-quality, proactive representation for insured clients and Travelers.

The role emphasizes strong written and oral advocacy, collaboration with claim partners, and effective use of technology and case management tools. Local travel may be required.

Formación

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent international degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license in good standing to practice law in the required state(s).
• At least 2 years of practicing attorney experience in litigation.
• Experience handling hearings, trials and dispositive motions and depositions.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and apply litigation strategies to cases to verdict or settlement.
• Conduct legal research and persuasive writing for trials.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
• Attend court events, depositions, and hearings independently.
• Provide case analysis and recommendations to insured clients and partners.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver exceptional service.
• Utilize case management systems and technology effectively.
• Travel as required to meet business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
