Travelers seeks a skilled insurance defense attorney to handle a caseload from inception through trial or appeal. You will draft pleadings, conduct research, and provide strategic guidance to insured clients and claim partners.

The ideal candidate has a Juris Doctorate, an active license in required state(s), and 2+ years practicing law with strong writing and advocacy skills; collar county venue and subrogation experience are a plus.

Competenze

Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree.
Active license to practice law in required state(s).
2 years experience as a practicing attorney.

Mansioni

Develop and apply litigation skills to try cases to verdict or negotiate resolution.
Conduct legal research and demonstrate strong and persuasive legal writing and presentation skills.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other documents.
Attend court events, depositions, and other appointments independently.
Provide case analysis and recommendations to insured clients and claim partners on file handling strategies.
Build and maintain strong internal and external client and business partner relationships.
Provide advice and training to Claim partners and clients.
Utilize available technology, case management system and automation.
Travel as required to meet business needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
