Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Litigation Defense Attorney in New Jersey with at least 3 years of insurance defense experience to join a full-service litigation team. Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active NJ bar license; PA license a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of insurance defense experience.
• Strong research, writing, and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appeals.
• Manage a diverse caseload of commercial transportation and construction defense matters.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies for favorable client outcomes.

• Draft, review, and negotiate pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlements.

We are currently seeking a Litigation Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to represent clients in the commercial transportation industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of insurance defense experience.

Responsibilities

• Representing clients in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, trial, and appeals.
• Managing a diverse caseload of commercial transportation and construction defense matters.
• Developing and implementing litigation strategies to achieve favorable resolutions for our clients.
• Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to identify potential legal issues and provide sound legal advice.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional client service.
• Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to case management.
• Staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide proactive legal guidance to clients.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• 2+ years of insurance defense experience.
• Proven track record of successfully defending clients in complex litigation cases.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional ethics and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
