The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in insurance defense law and strong litigation skills. This role offers competitive compensation within a range of $150k-$170k annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing insurance defense law.
• Admission to the Illinois state bar and in good standing.
• Prior experience with insurance carriers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex insurance issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on legal matters.

They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense law and litigation, with the ability to effectively represent clients in various legal proceedings.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex insurance issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers.
