Job description

I am currently working with a top tier boutique insurance law firm, who are actively looking to recruit a counsel/partner to join their growing Insurance group in Chicago.

The group is seeking an experienced and motivated Litigation Counsel/Partner to join its Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex insurance coverage, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services to clients.

Responsibilities

• Handle high level and complex litigation matters from regional and national clients.
• Assist in the further development of the firm's insurance coverage litigation practice.
• Network and develop new clients in both Chicago and the wider region.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Illinois state bar.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience practicing insurance coverage/litigation.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• A book of portable business is NOT required.
