Job summary

Aligned Talent Acquisition is seeking an Insurance Coverage & Recovery Associate Attorney in Milwaukee to collaborate with Am Law firms and sophisticated boutiques. The role emphasizes coverage analysis, litigation strategy, and recovery disputes across commercial policies.

You will engage with insurers or policyholders, draft opinions, and contribute to complex coverage matters while building long-term client relationships and advancing your career.

Qualifications

• Analyzing commercial general liability, umbrella, excess, and specialty insurance policies.
• Representing insurers or policyholders in coverage disputes.
• Drafting coverage opinions, reservation-of-rights letters, and substantive motions.
• Handling declaratory judgment actions, bad-faith claims, and complex coverage litigation.
• Advising on insurance recovery, policy interpretation, and litigation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop coverage opinions and litigation strategy for complex matters.
• Assess and interpret policies to support coverage determinations.
• Manage disputes, motions, and settlement discussions with clients.
• Collaborate with insurance clients and counsel to advance litigation plans.
