Job summary

Aligned Talent Acquisition is seeking an Insurance Coverage & Recovery Associate Attorney to advance your practice with Am Law level firms and major regional clients.

You will analyze commercial general liability, umbrella, and specialty policies, advise on coverage disputes, and contribute to litigation strategy, including declaratory actions and motions, with opportunities for mentorship and long‑term advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing commercial general liability, umbrella, excess, and specialty policies.
• Experience representing insurers or policyholders in coverage disputes.
• Experience drafting coverage opinions and motions.

Responsibilities

• Handle declaratory judgment actions, bad-faith claims, and complex coverage litigation.
• Advise on insurance recovery, policy interpretation, and litigation strategy.
• Draft reservation-of-rights letters and substantive motions.

I work primarily with Am Law 50, 100, and 200 firms, but I also frequently partner with small and midsize firms, respected regional firms, and sophisticated boutiques across multiple markets.

Experience That May Be a Fit

• Analyzing commercial general liability, umbrella, excess, and specialty insurance policies.

• Representing insurers or policyholders in coverage disputes.

• Drafting coverage opinions, reservation-of-rights letters, and substantive motions.

• Handling declaratory judgment actions, bad-faith claims, and complex coverage litigation.

• Advising on insurance recovery, policy interpretation, and litigation strategy.
