Job summary

Aligned Talent Acquisition is seeking an Insurance Coverage & Recovery Associate Attorney to join its network and engage with Am Law firms on complex coverage matters.

You will analyze policy language, advise clients, draft opinions, and participate in coverage litigation and recovery strategies, with opportunities for growth and mentorship. This role offers greater client interaction, sophisticated disputes, and potential to specialize on insurer-side or policyholder-side work.

Qualifications

• Analyzing commercial general liability, umbrella, excess, and specialty insurance policies.
• Representing insurers or policyholders in coverage disputes.
• Drafting coverage opinions, reservation-of-rights letters, and substantive motions.
• Handling declaratory judgment actions, bad-faith claims, and complex coverage litigation.
• Advising on insurance recovery, policy interpretation, and litigation strategy.
