Ropers Majeski PC in Los Angeles seeks an Insurance Coverage & Litigation Associate with a minimum of four years of coverage experience. You will draft opinions, assess policy wordings, and litigate declaratory judgments and bad faith actions in state and federal courts.

The role offers direct client contact, a mid-size firm environment with access to partners, and a compensation package including base salary of $160,000 to $210,000 per year, discretionary bonuses, and comprehensive benefits;

Formación

• JD degree with excellent academic credentials.
• Current California Bar admission in good standing.
• Minimum four years of coverage experience handling insurance coverage matters and related litigation.

Responsabilidades

• Drafting coverage opinions based on policy language and claim documents.
• Reviewing and assessing policy wordings to identify ambiguities and coverage triggers.
• Litigating declaratory judgment and bad faith actions in California and other states.
• Managing cases from inception to trial, including pleadings, discovery, and depositions.
• Providing coverage assessments across private equity, fiduciary, D&O, E&O, CGL, and property lines.
• Updating policy language to align with evolving law and client risk needs.
