Larson Maddox is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join the Insurance Practice Group in Southlake or Fort Worth. You will work with senior attorneys on sophisticated coverage matters across commercial and liability insurance issues.

The role involves analyzing policy language, drafting opinions, and representing insurers in declaratory judgment and coverage litigation, with substantial client interaction and career growth opportunities. Hybrid schedule available.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school required.
• Active Texas law license or eligibility for admission.
• 5+ years of insurance coverage experience.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Experience drafting coverage opinions and related correspondences.
• Ability to manage files independently within a team.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and interpret commercial insurance policies and endorsements.
• Evaluate third-party liability claims and coverage disputes.
• Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and coverage position letters.
• Advise insurers on coverage obligations and risk exposure.
• Handle declaratory judgment actions and coverage litigation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions and briefs.
• Manage discovery, depositions, and case strategy.
• Communicate with clients on claim developments and litigation strategy.
• Collaborate with partners on high-exposure matters.
• Participate in business development and client relationships.
