Job summary

Aligned Talent Acquisition is seeking an Insurance Coverage Senior Associate Attorney in Dallas with a strong background in insurance coverage and complex litigation. The role focuses on representing domestic and international insurers in sophisticated disputes and providing robust coverage counseling.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience, be capable of handling all litigation phases, and hold a J.D.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance coverage, commercial or complex litigation experience
• Experience representing insurers in coverage litigation and counseling
• Experience interpreting diverse insurance policies (CGL, excess, professional, D&O, cyber, environmental)
• Experience drafting coverage opinions and related letters
• Experience handling all phases of litigation in state and federal courts
• Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Responsibilities

• Represent insurers in sophisticated insurance coverage disputes and counseling matters
• Manage all phases of litigation from pleadings to trial preparation
• Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, declination letters and related correspondence
• Interact directly with clients while independently managing complex matters
