The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience focused on insurance coverage, with strong research and writing skills and the ability to provide clear coverage opinions and recommendations.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing.
• 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage matters.
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies.
• Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations.
• Drafting litigation-related documents.
• Experience participating in depositions and mediations.
• Familiarity with bad faith insurance claims, CGL, commercial property, E&O, and D&O.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions.
• Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other research tools.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses.
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers.
• Collaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives with efficiency and precision.
