Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution in Chicago seeks a junior associate to support a busy insurance coverage litigation practice, combining coverage analysis with active litigation. The role offers a clear path to advancement within a long-term practice and a hybrid schedule requiring three in-office days per week.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of insurance coverage experience, a JD from an accredited law school, and Illinois bar admission in good standing, with strong research and writing skills

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of relevant insurance coverage experience.
• Illinois bar admission in good standing.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Strong coverage analysis and insurance coverage litigation skills, including legal research and writing.

Responsibilities

• Draft and analyze insurance coverage positions, including reservations of rights and coverage opinions.
• Handle insurance coverage litigation tasks including pleadings, motion practice, and written discovery.
• Support depositions, hearings, and broader case strategy under attorney supervision, with increasing responsibility based on experience.
• Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders regarding coverage issues, litigation status, and risk considerations.
